These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of IntentGate's websites, AI-powered services, SMS communications, and related products (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Description
IntentGate provides AI-powered regulatory intelligence products built on the Neural Knowledge Base (NKB). Our Services include web-based legal research tools, AI chat assistants, SMS-based notifications and support, and regulatory analysis products across multiple practice areas.
2. Not Legal Advice
IntentGate does not provide legal advice. All information provided through our Services is for informational and educational purposes only. The content on our platforms, including statutory text, regulatory analysis, and AI-generated responses, does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. Always consult a qualified attorney for legal matters specific to your situation.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Services in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data
- Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from our Services without permission
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our Services
- Misrepresent information provided by our Services as legal advice
4. SMS Communications
By opting in to SMS communications with IntentGate, you agree to the following:
- You consent to receive text messages from IntentGate at the phone number you provide
- Messages may include service notifications, system alerts, AI assistant responses, and customer support communications
- Message frequency varies based on your usage
- Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan
- You may opt out at any time by replying STOP
- Reply HELP for assistance
5. Intellectual Property
The Services, including the NKB platform, AI models, scoring frameworks (including the Aquinas Score), website designs, and proprietary analytical methods, are the intellectual property of Daniel Raper / IntentGate. Statutory text displayed on our platforms is public domain; our analysis, enrichment, scoring, and presentation of that text is proprietary.
6. AI-Generated Content
Our Services use artificial intelligence to generate responses, analysis, and insights. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. You acknowledge that:
- AI responses are generated algorithmically and may not always be accurate
- AI-generated content does not replace professional judgment
- IntentGate is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IntentGate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to IntentGate in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Jackson County, Alabama.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.
